Come join us for a 1-day session at The Governor Hill Mansion in Augusta!
What are the session outcomes?
- Learn about structures and routines* that support the development of reflective, collaborative, and inquisitive learner dispositions.
- Collaborate with other “like role” educators within the K-1,2-3, and 4-5 grade spans.
- Develop or refine an Implementation Action Plan, focusing on the first 3 weeks of school.
- Gain access to a collection of resources.
*Focus of Structures and Routines: math mindsets, problem solving and reasoning, student self-assessment and reflection, small and whole group discourse, and connecting representations to support fluency.
What math content does the session focus on?
The program addresses NCTM’s Teaching Practices and the Mathematical Practices in the state standards.
