Your help could further MMSA’s vision of a brighter STEM future for the State of Maine and the nation. Today, I ask you to support MMSA and become a part of the movement to support exciting new ways for our youth to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math.
University of Maine at Augusta
Through a partnership with Code.org and Educate Maine, we are able to offer a series of free workshops for K-5 educators. The CS Fundamentals curriculum is a free, open-source program. Trained facilitators lead K-5 educators through a day-long intensive look at the curriculum. The Intro workshop is a great place to start – and is designed for educators with varied backgrounds. No experience with CS is necessary.
We can also bring this program to your district – free of charge – with a minimum of ten educators enrolled. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
