Elementary Mathematics Diagnostic Interview (EMDI) Users Session


WHO WILL BENEFIT:
  • Grades K-5 Educators
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

 

  • Continue to build skills and knowledge for conducting student interviews and summarizing findings.
  • Explore user designed or adapted scoring, recording and data tools, including additional scoring guidelines.
  • Gain access to additional tools and resources designed to support student learning of EMDI numeracy concepts.
  • Have opportunities to collaborate with other “like role” EMDI users within the PK-1, 2-3, 4-5 grade spans.
DETAILS: This program is designed for participants who have already attended an Elementary Mathematics Diagnostic Interview (EMDI) introductory session. Participants will dig deeper into the content strands of the EMDI tools for each component of the EMDI framework: using the diagnostic tool, planning for intervention, and gathering additional evidence (for both face to face and online learning environments).

Estimated Cost:

  • On site workshop: $1650/day plus travel
  • Virtual options (synchronous/asynchronous):
    $200 per contact hour
