|DETAILS:||OpenSciEd was launched to improve the supply of and address demand for high-quality, open-source, full-course science instructional materials, while at the same time supporting the implementation of middle school science instructional units.
OpenSciEd aims to create a set of exemplary science instructional materials that are:
While starting at the middle school level, the goal is to create an entire science curriculum from elementary to high school. This workshop will introduce middle school science teachers to the OpenSciEd framework and to the first set of middle school units.

8 week summer course
Dates: June 15 – August 14 2020
Time: Participation each week requires approximately 2 hours of asynchronous work and 2 hours of synchronous work. Exact meeting schedule will be developed to accommodate the availability of participants. (Total hours = 32)
