In partnership with GEAR UP Maine, MMSA will be holding a retreat for mathematics teachers from Telstar High School, the Maine Academy of Natural Sciences, and Gifft Hill School. The group will spend the three days collaborating on experiential math projects, discussing an experiential learning model, and developing curricula that is place-based and relevant to the students they work with. This group also meets in a virtual environment throughout the school year.
