|WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:||Participants will deepen their understanding of what three-dimensional teaching and learning looks like through an immersion experience|
|DETAILS:||As Maine transitions to using the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), districts, schools, and teachers are searching for high-quality, rigorous, and engaging NGSS-designed curricular materials. Any publisher can claim alignment to the NGSS, but how do you know of a set of curricular or instructional materials are really NGSS-designed?
In this workshop, participants will be introduced to a variety of tools and rubrics to evaluate curricular and instructional materials for NGSS design. Participants will collaboratively review sample resources and share their findings. Leave with a concrete tool and sample evaluations to help as you evaluate and select science curriculum materials for grades K-12!
