Cost: This workshop is provided at no cost with a $250 stipend and up to $100 sub pay per educator.
This education and workforce development effort is designed to promote middle and high school student interest in STEM careers through direct student involvement in the development and launching of CubeSats into Earth’s orbit. This real-world application is a chance for students to acquire and hone their STEM skills, while also enhancing their critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and teamwork skills. During this workshop will we will explore what a CubeSat is and how your classroom and school can become involved in this exciting program. We will guide you through the online application process and provide resources to help you get started.
Workshops run from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, with registration starting at 8:30 am and includes materials, light breakfast and lunch.
