Planning for Summer Enrichment Virtual Workshops

Individual workshops May 26, 27, 28, June 2, 3, 4 (Virtual)

  • Summer and Out-of-School Educators:
  • Gather virtually to share ideas and resources
  • Learn strategies for facilitating fun summer STEM learning
  • Get lesson plan ideas to help make your programs even better
  • Have some fun and connect with other educators

These are free virtual events that will be hands-on and engaging!

Dates (times are EST):

  • Understand what youth have learned-without a test Wed. May 26th @ Noon
  • Reach all youth through active math learning Thurs. May 27th @ 6:30 PM
  • Take math and science outside Fri. May 28th @ 9:00 AM
  • Get everyone excited about STEM and STEAM Wed. June 2nd @ Noon
  • Activate STEM thinking with Purposeful Questions Thurs. June 3rd@ 6:30 PM
  • Use virtual tools to engage learners at a distance Fri. June 4th @ 9:00 AM

During this pandemic educators have been forced to reinvent the way they reach kids and all of us here at MMSA have been working hard to shift our programming, professional learning opportunities, and research to overcome this incredibly difficult challenge for educators across Maine and the nation.
