The Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance (MMSA) is offering an exciting, half-day Family STEM workshop. This event will be presented by MMSA’s STEM Specialists.
Cost: $75 per person.
Breakfast and lunch will not be served, so please bring a snack for yourself.
Description: Generate excitement for STEM in your school and community by inviting students, teachers, and families to explore together in a fun way! A Family STEM Night is an evening featuring hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities for students and families to complete together. The event includes a range of activities covering different STEM topics and connections to exciting STEM careers. Activities are interactive, use readily available materials, and link STEM to the real world. In addition to engaging in sample activities, participants will receive resources for and tips on organizing and running a STEM event in their community.
Appropriate for K-6 educators.
