FREE Workshop: Numeracy in Nature spring Workshop
K - 5 educators!
Are you hoping to bring your students outside as the weather gets warmer but want to keep math learning moving forward? Join a group of K-5 educators to explore Numeracy in Nature and find ways to bring math content to life outdoors with your young mathematicians. For one day, you will work together to explore Numeracy in Nature materials and adapt them to your setting. Discover ways to use natural materials to represent math problems, find and understand math in nature, and use math to investigate authentic outdoor problems. We will gather virtually a few weeks later to celebrate successes and explore ways to overcome obstacles.
