Trajectories of Whole Number Concepts & Skills, Diagnostic Approaches, and Instructional Practices
This course will focus on building the skills needed to support your students in achieving computational fluency. As a participant, you will discover ways to increase your students’ understanding of whole number concepts, learn how to implement effective diagnostic approaches with your students, and create a toolbox of instructional practices to engage your students in thinking and reasoning about numeric relationships. This course is ideal for K-5 math educators and 6-8 math educators looking to support students in improving whole number computation.
Cost: $1000 for 24 contact hours, or add-on $450 for 3 graduate credits (additional reading and reflection of required text, Figuring Out Fluency).
