ECS Cohort 3 Signup

ECS is a curriculum and professional development system to teach computer science to students who have had Algebra 1. It was developed through a National Science Foundation grant particularly to increase participation of girls and minority populations in Los Angeles. Equity is a major focus of this curriculum.

STEM Guides Downeast Launched

Angus King Speaks about STEM Guides Downeast Launched

The STEM Guides Downeast project, a collaboration between MMSA and Axiom Technology and Training Center, launched September 1 at an event at the University of Maine at Machias. Senator Angus King addressed the enthusiastic audience of about 60 representatives from area groups and businesses, local government officials, teachers, and other community members interested in expanding the STEM opportunities for youth in the Machias area.
