In the first session of this three-part virtual series, explore the core instructional elements of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), including the three dimensions and how they work together to support science learning.
Designed specifically for informal and environmental educators, this session will help make NGSS more approachable and useful in the programs and learning experiences you already offer.
What You’ll Explore
- The three dimensions of NGSS
- How the dimensions work together
- Why NGSS is relevant to informal and environmental education
- Ways to recognize NGSS connections in your existing programs and activities
