MMSA’s Rural Energy Futures project invites high school educators to express interest in attending the Student Mentor Summit with their students.
During the event, students will work in teams on a hands-on energy design challenge with support from local industry professionals and their peers. At the same time, educators will participate in aligned professional learning designed to connect the experience to classroom instruction.
The day will include:
- A collaborative energy design challenge
- Mentorship from industry professionals
- Real-world problem-solving
- Lunch and opportunities to connect with other students and educators
- Experience students can include on college applications and résumés
High school educators can now submit an interest form for the 2026 Summit. A member of the planning team will follow up by September 18 to confirm available for your school to attend.
