Join us for a FREE screening of the award-winning documentary “Counted Out(opens in a new tab),” and explore the power of math education in today’s world. These events are for Maine educators and administrators and include a casual meal with guided discussion groups.

“Counted Out” investigates the biggest crises of our time—political polarization, racial and economic inequity, global pandemic, and climate change—through an unexpected lens: math.
You’ll connect with other educators to discuss these critical topics, including how math can either empower or exclude, and what the roots of math anxiety are, while reimagining how to make math education more inclusive, relevant, and equitable.
